Foley Halts Esko’s Chances at Repeating as Class AA State Champions

Esko defeated Le Sueur-Henderson 4-1 to claim 3rd place in Class AA.

ST. CLOUD, Minn.- The Esko baseball team needed just one more win in order to advance to their 2nd straight Class AA state title game.

Sadly, Foley spoiled that opportunity for Esko as they came away with a 4-0 victory on Friday afternoon in the semifinals.

Trey Emmerich struck out 13 batters on the mound to lead the Falcons.

Following that contest, Esko defeated Le Sueur-Henderson 4-1 to claim 3rd place in Class AA.
