Northland Baseball Fans Enjoy World Series

Many fans say this World Series is one of the best they've seen in years.

It doesn’t get much better than Game 7 of the World Series and fans in the Northland enjoyed every hit and home run.

“This is heaven! Game 7 World Series even if you’re not a Cubs fan. This is history in the making, Indians vs. Cubs,” said Cubs fan Marc Halpert.

Some fans have enjoyed the series, but wish the hometown team was in it.

“I really wish the Twins were in it but I’m pretty happy for the Cubs,” said Caleb Hoff.

For others, they’ve been waiting for a moment like this all of their lives.

“I’ve been a Cubs fan for about 40 years so I was born and raised in Wrigleyville, so this is absolutely everything right now. First time since 1908, honestly I thought we were done last night. So I had to get emotionally prepared for tonight,” said Cubs fan Jaime Somers.

The game may be over, but fans will savor this win until spring training rolls around.
