Twin Ponds Fatal Hit and Run Trial Begins

Justin Linskie is accused in the hit and run incident involving Susan Menz

The trial began Monday, October 31, 2016, for the man accused in a fatal hit-and-run at Duluth’s Twin Ponds.

Justin Linskie, 31, of Superior, Wisconsin, is accused of hitting 60-year-old, Susan Menz with his SUV on October 13, 2015 around 6 p.m, before driving off the road and into one of the ponds, and then allegedly left the scene of the crime.  Menz was out taking photographs before she was hit.

Linskie is facing charges of vehicular homicide and leaving the scene.

Linskie also has a lengthy criminal record, including having crimes related to drugs, theft, license suspension, and driving while under the influence.
