Death Investigation Underway Involving Douglas Co. Inmate
SUPERIOR, Wis. – A death investigation is underway involving an inmate at the Douglas County Jail.
The Sheriff’s Office said the inmate was brought to the hospital early Saturday morning with “an unknown medical condition.”
The inmate, whose name was not released Sunday, died at the hospital several hours later.
Sheriff Tom Dalbec said he expects to release more details after the autopsy is completed.
