Flashlight Tours at Fairlawn Mansion Combines History With Ghost Tales
The Mansion Had a Paranormal Investigation Recently
Every Halloween season, the Historic Fairlawn mansion turns off its lights.
“It’s completely dark inside the house and we just go through with flashlights,” explained Andria Murphy, a tour guide.
It’s for a unique tour of the building that combines the rich history of the mansion, with ghost tales.
“You never know what you’re going to see on one of these tours it can be a surprise,” said Mike Cramey, a visitor.
Alot of the tour was about a recent paranormal investigation and the spirits that continue to haunt the building.
“We talk a little bit about the superstitions of the Victorian era, just some creepy things that have gone on in the house,” said Murphy,
The tour is a big hit each year that drew a little more than 200 people each night last year, but this year the event only happened for one night.
But if you missed it this time, mark your calendars now, because the next flash light tour will be on January, Friday the 13th.
