Canyon Native Nick Carlson Picks Up Top Scorer in the World Honor

DULUTH, Minn.- A former St. Scholastica Saint is making a name for himself in the Big V League in Australia.

On Saturday, Nick Carlson was awarded the Highest Point Scorer in the World honor after dropping 48 points on the Western Port Steelers.

Carlson, who plays for the Keysborough Cougars, also had seven rebounds in the contest.

He is currently averaging 13 points, five rebounds, and shooting 56 percent from the field in his first season overseas.
