Superior City FC Women Fall in Scoring Onslaught

Regular season finale this Saturday

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The Superior City FC women couldn’t keep up with the NOSC Blast in a 5-1 loss at NBC Spartan Sports Complex on Sunday.

Superior City gave up two goals in the first half, one of which was scored by UMD sophomore Jessica Eischens. Her Bulldog teammate, Gwendoline Lilly, found the back of the net for Superior in the second half, but the home team was unable to slow down the Blast’s offense.

This loss puts Superior City at 4-3-2 with one game left in the regular season, which takes place Saturday night at home against St. Paul.
