Bent Paddle Brewing Hosts Boundary Waters Fundraiser

DULUTH, Minn.– Folks paddled on down for this Boundary Waters fundraiser Friday Afternoon.

There was a good turnout for the 2nd annual Paddlin’ For The Boundary Waters fundraiser in Duluth. Bent Paddle Brewing welcomed local food vendors, and businesses.  During the party, Dave Simonett’s band ‘Dead Man Winter’ put on a concert for guests. There was also a chance to win prizes connected to the boundary waters, and even a Sanborn canoe. The fundraiser supported the Sportsmen for the Boundary Waters. An organization dedicated to preserving the BWCA.

“But the biggest thing we’re here for, and the reason we want to protect the boundary waters is for future generations to experience it the same way we have,” said SFBW Executive Director Lukas Leaf

Sportsmen for the Boundary Waters put on a series of events dedicated to this cause. They’re hoping to keep the tradition going.
