Duluth Woman Arrested After Monday Night Carjacking

DULUTH, Minn. – A Duluth woman is now behind bars after stealing a car and running over a Duluth man near UMD Monday night.

The event happened just before 11 p.m. near Woodland Ave. and West Saint Marie Street.

According to the Duluth Police Department, a 24-year-old man was picking up food when a 32-year-old woman jumped into his vehicle and started to drive away.

The 24-year-old attempted to stop the car jacking from happening and was dragged and run over. He was later transported to a local hospital for a possible broken femur.

Duluth Police eventually caught up with the suspect identified as a 32-year-old Duluth woman. She was arrested and is pending for multiple charges.
