Brewers Select Former Huskies Pitcher Jaron DeBerry in MLB Draft

DeBerry spent the 2022 summer in Duluth.

MILWAUKEE, Wis.- More than 600 baseball players are set to achieve their lifelong dream of being drafted into the MLB.

Monday afternoon, a former Husky was one of those players who received the call of a lifetime.

Former Pitcher Jaron DeBerry was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers at pick number 93 in the 3rd round.

He spent the 2022 summer in Duluth, appearing in four games and tallying two wins. DeBerry also posted an ERA of 1.80 with 22 strikeouts.

DeBerry plays his college ball at Dallas Baptist University in Texas.
