Big 2nd Half Lifts Duluth FC Past Des Moines United FC in Midwest Region Semifinals

Duluth FC will next face Steel City FC on Saturday in the Midwest Region Final.

DES MOINES, Iowa.- Duluth FC played in their first regional semifinal game since 2022 on Wednesday.

After a scoreless first half against Des Moines United FC, the Bluegreens broke the scoreless tie in the 67th minute with a goal by Liam Pritchard.

12 minutes later, Rory Doyle put the game on ice as he extended Duluth’s lead to two.

Duluth FC advances to the regional final with the 2-0 victory. They’ll next play at Steel City FC on Saturday.
