Duluth Woman’s Club Host 56th Annual Tour of Homes and Gardens

DULUTH, Minn.  — The Duluth Woman’s Club held their 56th annual Tour of Homes and Gardens Wednesday.

5 homes, 3 gardens, the Woman’s Club itself and the Duluth Boat Club all got in on the action. FOX21 cameras were allowed inside one of the homes which boasted some historical features.

“All the tile work is original. The buffet and here was original to the house there the fascinating fireplace around the corner in this sitting room and that has the incandescent bulbs that are also original to the house,” said Coleen Witherly, member of the Duluth Woman’s Club.

Members want you to know while this is the clubs only fundraiser of the year, membership is available year-round.

“We would love to have new members and it’s very easy to become a member. All you do is apply online or if you want more information, you can call the Women’s Club,” said Ellie Dryer, Co-Chair of the Duluth Woman’s Club.

Food trucks were also on hand. The Duluth Woman’s Club meets weekly on Tuesday afternoons for card games and lunch.
