David Staniger Resigns as CSS Head Men’s Basketball Coach After 24 Seasons
Staniger has the most wins in program history with 287.
DULUTH, Minn.- Longtime St. Scholastica head men’s basketball coach David Staniger has resigned.
Staniger has been with the team since the 2000 and 2001 season.
Over the course of that reign, he led the Saints to one national tournament, four UMAC regular season titles and four UMAC postseason titles.
Staniger has the most wins in program history with 287.
He was also named UMAC Coach of the Year three times.
A search for his replacement is currently ongoing.
