ST. PAUL, Minn. – Minnesota health officials reported 3,026 new cases of COVID-19 in Minnesota Monday morning bringing the total confirmed COVID cases to 381,841 in the state.

Health officials also reported 18 news deaths bringing the death total to 4,462 in Minnesota.

According to the Minnesota Department of Health website, 4,933,794 tests have been completed to date.

There are 347,077 patients who no longer require isolation.

So far, 19,638 patients have required hospitalization and 4,255 cases have been hospitalized in ICU.

Carlton: 2,367 – 29 deaths
Cook: 97
Itasca: 2,453 – 29 deaths
Koochiching: 497 – 7 deaths
Lake: 497 – 11 deaths
St. Louis: 11,245 – 158 deaths
Ashland: 874 – 13 deaths
Bayfield: 819 – 16 deaths
Douglas: 2,619 – 14 deaths
Iron: 398 – 10 deaths
Sawyer: 1,049 – 8 deaths
Gogebic: 674 – 12 deaths

As of Monday morning, Wisconsin health officials reported 436,773 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services also reported 4,056 deaths.

Health officials say the real number of Minnesotans infected with the coronavirus is likely much higher because most people did not originally qualify for testing, and studies suggest that people can be infected without feeling sick.
