Superior Reds Walk-Off Against Chippewa Falls, Set to Meet Eau Claire in Regional Title Game

The Reds are in search of their first state tournament berth since 2021.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- It took extra innings to decide a winner between the Chippewa Falls Post 77 and Superior Reds baseball teams on Tuesday.

Eventually in the bottom of the 13th, Superior walked it off, taking the 4 to 3 victory to begin regional play.

Superior later faced Eau Claire in another regional game. Unfortunately, Eau Claire came away with the 13 to 3 win.

Superior will need to defeat Eau Claire twice on Wednesday in order to keep their season alive. Winner advances to the state tournament.
