NCHC Announces New Playoff Format for 2027 Season
Beginning in 2027, all 10 teams will make the conference tournament.
DULUTH, Minn.- With the addition of St. Thomas to the NCHC, the conference is changing their playoff format.
Beginning in 2027, all 10 teams will make the conference tournament.
The playoffs will take place over the course of three weekends and will happen at on-campus sites. A difference from year’s past.
The conference also announced they will revert back to travel partners with UMD paired up with North Dakota.
