Grand Rapids Goaltender Carter Casey Named to U.S. Under-18 Men’s Select Team
The red, white, and blue is in search of their first title since 2003.
GRAND RAPIDS, Minn.- Late last week, Grand Rapids goaltender Carter Casey took part in the Hlinka Gretzky Cup Camp with hopes of being named to the U.S. Under-18 Select Team.
It appears he made an impact.
Because Tuesday, Casey was named to the team. He is one of three goaltenders on the roster.
Next week, Casey and company will board a flight to Edmonton, Alberta to compete in the Hlinka Gretzky Cup.
Future Bulldog Carter Murphy also made the final roster.
Team USA’s first game is August 5th against Czechia.
