Upcoming Pop Culture Convention Happening in Duluth

DULUTH, Minn.– A gathering encouraging self-expression, connecting, and bonding over similar hobbies and passions. That’s the goal for this upcoming event in the Northland.

It is no secret there is a lack of pop culture conventions in Duluth. But soon enough, there will be one right in town. The second annual Teeb Con will be showcasing pop culture, comic, and fantasy through different vendors. In addition, they are hosting tabletop gaming as well as having a cosplay costume contest. These types of gatherings aim to be inclusive, and introduce people to new hobbies, and new friends.

“But to me, it just allows an opportunity to really enjoy what I like in a way that’s safe and accepted. And I think that’s a really big thing,” said MNSWCA President Stephen Kaarbo.

Teeb Con will be happening on Saturday August 24th, and Sunday August 25th at the DECC. Tickets start at $20. If you’re interested in attending, you can purchase them on their website.
