Zoo La Palooza Brings Out Large Crowds at Lake Superior Zoo

DULUTH, Minn. — It was quite the party Tuesday at the Lake Superior Zoo.

Zoo La Palooza took over zoo grounds. From animal feeding to a bubble dance party, climbing wall and disc golf, there was something for everyone.

Food and beer vendors also onsite.

The event is not just a fundraiser for the zoo, but a way to say thank you to community supporters.

“To invite the community to the zoo means so much to us because we get to show all that we’ve got going on, we get to give back to the community a really fun night, and also we get to give the community a really wonderfully, well-funded zoo,” said Caroline Routley, Marketing Manager at the Lake Superior Zoo.

Next up for the zoo is Boo at the Zoo, which is taking place in October. Tickets will go up September First.
