Falastin to reopen after Temporary Closing due to Anti-Palestinian Graffiti
DULUTH, Minn. — A local Palestinian market and deli will reopen this weekend after threatening graffiti last week lead to a temporary closure.
The “derogatory anti-Palestinian” message occurred at Falastin on the 4700 block of E Superior Street sometime between Thursday or Friday of last week.
The owners, writing in a Facebook post, “Thanks to the overwhelming support of our community we feel so seen, safe, and loved. your support, words, and kindness are what keep us going.”
Falastin is open regular hours this week; Friday and Saturday from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.
