19th Annual Vintage Snowmobile Show Begins
DULUTH, Minn.– For a hot season like this, it’s a great time to cool off and get excited about snowmobiles.
The 19th Annual Vintage Snowmobile National Show is kicking off in the Twin Ports. This will be happening August 2nd, through Sunday August 4th. Over 400 snowmobiles will be displayed, some dating back to the ’50s. For the first time, this snowmobile event is being celebrated under one roof. Visitors all the way from New York State to Alberta Canada are here in Duluth showing off their prized possessions. Some of these sleds are extra sentimental.
“Some of these sleds that either their parents bought brand new, and they’ve had since brand new. Or there’s some here that are pretty historic race sleds.” said Preston Lee, event chairman.
“My favorite thing is just how many sleds this event draws together, and all the people that come together.” said Lee.
Another activity this event is offering is the banquet dinner on Saturday August 3rd from 6 to 10 PM. There will be a dinner buffet, cash bar, live entertainment, and presentation of awards. Pre-registration is required, and tickets cost $35 for adults, and $15 for kids 15 and younger.
