Monday Morning Northland Forecast: 8/12/2024

August Warmth Returns

We had a hot end to July and a cooler than normal start to August. This week, as we head into the middle of the month, it’s a return to typical summer heat. The average high for today is 77 degrees. And that is right about where we will be for the next three days.

A large, strong area of high pressure will situate itself right over the Northland for the next three days. That means lots of sunshine, light winds, and highs from the upper 70s to around 80 degrees. Perfect weather for this time of the summer! Low pressure to our southwest will bring a good chance for measurable rain on Thursday and Friday. We have been dry for a while, so I don’t mind getting some moisture for my lawn. High temps will dip a little bit for those two days, but the warmth will return for the weekend, along with more sunshine for Saturday and Sunday. The timing looks great for a nice summer weekend ahead!
