Minnesota Primary Election Preview
Tuesday’s primary elections have some key seats up for grabs in Minnesota, such as United States Senator along with a 6th District Judge spot.
United States Senator race:
Republican Party:
Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party:
One from each party will advance to the November General election.
United States Representative District 8:
On the Republican side, Harry R. Welty is facing off against Pete Stauber.
On the DFL side John Munter is running against Jen Schultz.
One candidate from each party will move up to the November election.
State Representative District 3A:
Incumbent Roger Skraba, DFL Harley Droba, and Forward Party Independent Rich Tru are running.
State Representative District 3B:
Incumbent Natalie Zeleznikar (R) and Mark Munger (D) running in the General election.
State Representative District 7A:
Incumbent Spencer Igo and Democrat Aron Schnaser are running.
State Representative District 7B:
Matt Matasich and Cal Warwas are running in the Republican primary.
State Representative District 8B:
Republicans Timothy L. Meyer and Shawn Sevala facing off.
Alicia (Liish) Kozlowski is running unopposed.
One candidate from each party will head to the November election.
State Representative District 11A:
Incumbent Jeff Dotseth (R) and Pete Radosevich (D) are running in the general election.
Meanwhile, in the Judicial Offices there is a Judge spot for 6th District open. Below shows who is running.
The new Judge will take over for longtime Judge Dale Harris who is retiring.
