UMD Soccer Picked to Finish 8th in NSIC, Haugen & Tobias Named Players to Watch

UMD is coming off a 6-7-6 a year ago.

DULUTH, Minn.- The NSIC Coaches Preseason Poll was released on Tuesday morning.

Coming in at number eight was the UMD Bulldogs, who finished 6-7-6 a year ago.

The conference players to watch list was also revealed and it included two Bulldogs. They are Baamlak Haugen and Anna Tobias.

Haugen played a key role in the UMD defense as they held opponents to just 1.47 goals per game.

Tobias on the other hand, was first in shots on goal and second on the team in total points and goals.
