Another Perfect Summer Day!
It’s hard to complain about a week in August that is full of sunny days with highs in the 70s. So, I’m just going to enjoy it, and say, “Thanks!” The high pressure situated over us will continue to bring us sunshine, light winds, and perfect temperatures. The average high for today is 76. While we will be a tad below that at about 72 degrees, I still count that is a weather win!
We will stay in this current pattern until the next weather maker moves in from the west. While there may be little disturbances along the way, I don’t see any significant changes coming until a low pressure system ushers in a warm front, followed quickly by a cool front, next Monday. I would be surprised if that doesn’t touch off some showers in the region. By that time, it will have been more than a week since we’ve had measurable rainfall, so I’d be happy to get that. There is a slight chance for light rain on Thursday night, but I’m putting my money on the low coming in on Monday as more of a sure thing.
So, enjoy today and tomorrow, and the whole rest of this great week. And, if you want warmer temps, they’ll be here for the weekend, with highs in the 80’s. Summer is not over yet!
