2 Shot In Duluth’s Downtown Neighborhood
DULUTH, Minn. — Two people were shot early Saturday in the 100 block of E. 3rd Street, which is considered the edge of downtown Duluth.
The shooting happened around 2:15 a.m. Saturday. The Duluth Police Department issued a press release on the incident at 4:16 p.m. Saturday.
Police described the scene where they located two victims as “chaotic.”
A 56-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the chest and was taken to a local hospitalized. His condition as of Saturday afternoon was not known other than he “remains hospitalized,” according to the news release.
The second victim, a 29-year-old man, suffered a gunshot would to the lower abdomen. He took himself to the hospital and was treated and released, according to police.
There was no initial word on any arrests.
