Person Arrested After Shooting Outside Building In Eveleth

EVELTH, Minn. – Charges are pending against one person in connection to a shooting outside a building in Eveleth Monday morning.

Police say they got word of the shooting on the 400 block of Grant Avenue at 6:16 a.m. on September 2, 2024.  The initial call was for a report of someone shooting a gun at the caller who fled the scene.  The address given coincides with the location of the Hells Angels building.

When officers arrived and others from nearby agencies, they found several bullet holes in the front door of the building.  Shell casings were found on the nearby street and sidewalk.  No injuries were reported.

A short time later, one woman was taken into custody.

As of Monday afternoon, Eveleth Police say this was not a random shooting, and there is no danger to the public.
