Superior, Esko defense steps up; Hill scores for UWS
DULUTH, Minn.- A pair of defensive football plays and a big-time UWS goal have made the cut for this week’s top plays.
At number three, Superior Defensive Lineman Garret Rivord is able to track down a batted pass for an interception against River Falls.
At number two, Esko’s Easton Harker forced a fumble on a sack, resulting in Heath Sunnarborg recovering the ball and taking it to the end zone for a defensive touchdown.
At number one, UWS’s Niya Wilson forces the ball loose, leading to Kamryn Hill taking a shot and scoring for the Yellowjackets. UWS would go on to win against UW-River Falls 2-1.
