City of Eveleth Looks to Take Action Against Hells Angels Clubhouse
EVELETH, Minn. – Eveleth’s city council is looking into purchasing the Hells Angels clubhouse, located in the heart of downtown.
According to property records, the clubhouse is owned by Jerand French, who prosecutor say is the President of the Hells Angels’ Iron Range Charter. French is facing kidnapping, false imprisonment, and assault charges, in connection to a 2023 incident that took place, in part, at the clubhouse.
The address also the location of a recent shooting. Early Labor Day morning, police say Adrien Gunderson, of Forbes, was scene on city cameras approaching the clubhouse door, and firing several rounds into the doorway. Gunderson is seen driving off, but police located and took her into custody shortly after.
City officials recently told the Mesabi Tribune it’s time the Hells Angels to find a different location out of Eveleth, calling the situation a “public safety declaration.”
