The Carlton County Sheriff’s Office says the report of the crash came in 8:28 p.m. The driver, 48-year-old Adam Forsythe of Grand Lake Township was driving a pickup truck.
Authorities say he was traveling east on Highway 210 when he drove off the road and struck the building. Forsythe was pulled from his vehicle where life saving measures took place. He was then brought to a Cloquet hospital where he passed away.
The building sustained heavy damage and no one else was injured.
