A Hiker Failed to Make it Back Safely Before Nightfall Thursday Evening
The Missing Eden Prarie Man was Found Safe and Unharmed
A missing hiker near the Ash River Visitor’s Center in Voyageurs National Park has been found.
Shortly after 5:00p.m. Thursday, St. Louis County Officials received reports of a missing man who had become lost while hiking on nearby trails.
Officials say 33-year-old Robert Deutsch of Eden Prairie left for his hike around 3:30p.m. and had become turned around as darkness fell.
After searching the area by ATV’s, boat, and on foot, Deutsch was located by a search party from St. Louis County.
Authorities say Deutsch was found to be in good health and uninjured from the incident.
