Motorcyclist Identified in Duluth Fatal Crash
UPDATE (October 10, 10:45 a.m.) — The Duluth Police Department has identified the motorcyclist who died in a crash Monday morning.
The person has been identified as 39-year-old Zhen Zhou of Duluth.
UPDATE (October 7, 11:00 a.m.) — Duluth Police say a motor vehicle crash between an SUV and motorcycle resulted in the death of one person.
The crash occurred at 6:45 a.m. and happened at the intersection of West Arrowhead Road and Rice Lake Road. It resulted in another collision into two other vehicles stopped at the traffic light.
The driver of the motorcycle died at the scene. They were wearing a helmet.
Authorities say there were no signs of impairment by any drivers involved.
The identities of all involved are pending notification to family members.
The Minnesota State Patrol is assisting with the crash investigation and reconstruction. They are helping determine if any charges need to be made.

DULUTH, Minn. — The Duluth Police Department is investigating a motor vehicle crash Monday morning.
Authorities say the crash is at the intersection of Rice Lake Road and Arrowhead Road. That section of roadway is closed.
They are asking the public to avoid the area.
Duluth Police says they will update when the road is fully open. There is no word on any injuries or what led to the crash.
