SCCU Celebrates Partnership With UW-Superior

SUPERIOR, Wis. — A brand-new stadium at UW-Superior is being celebrated with an award ceremony. A collaboration with Superior Choice Credit Union made this possible. The stadium is just the beginning when it comes to this partnership.

The SCCU is being presented with the Universities of Wisconsin Regents Business Partnership Award. They’re aiming to enhance financial literacy and create internships for students. In addition, ATMs are being placed around campus.

“It’s an amazing opportunity for anybody to learn not only just from us, but a general sense to learn how to develop as leaders. Be smarter with your finances obviously. But just that development piece I believe, giving an opportunity in this community to look at it a different way and to have that higher education as a backdrop at the same time is huge importance for everybody,” said Tim Foster, President & Chief Executive Officer at SCCU.
