Garage and House Fire in Chisholm Causes Severe Damage

Chisholm, Minn. — A garage and house fire in Chisholm caused severe damage on the evening of Thursday, October 17, but thankfully, no injuries were reported.

According to Friends of the Northland FireWire, the fire was reported around 9 p.m. in the 600 block of 13th Street Northwest.

Firefighters from Chisholm, Hibbing, and French Township responded.

The garage and two vehicles were completely lost, and the nearby home suffered extensive damage.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
