Juvenile Arrested, Another Suspect at Large After Virginia Fight

VIRGINIA, Minn. — The Virginia Police Department was dispatched to a fight Wednesday evening. 

According to the report, a 38-year-old male was being punched repeatedly by two other males. One of the males possibly had a knife.

This happened around 7:30 at night on the 200 block of 3rd South Street.

Upon arrival, Virginia Police spoke with a juvenile male who fled from the scene on foot. 

St. Louis County Deputy Thorne and K9 Thor assisted the search for the juvenile. They found a jacket, ski mask, and knife under the porch where the juvenile male was apprehended.

The second unidentified male suspect left the scene prior to law enforcement arrival.

The victim sustained minor injuries from the fight and was not cut or stabbed by a knife.

The detained juvenile male was arrested and taken to Arrowhead Juvenile Center on charges of underage drinking, fleeing on foot, and 2nd degree assault with a dangerous weapon.
