Early Voting Begins in Wisconsin
SUPERIOR, Wis.– Early voting has begun in Superior exactly two weeks before Election Day.
This year, there are now three different places to cast votes in Superior.
You can find them at the Bong Musuem, fire department headquarters and the Government Center.
Voting is taking place Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
At a press event today, Democratic leaders called on Wisconsinites to vote early.
We know what is right for Superior and Douglas County. That is why we are early voting today for Kamala Harris and democrats down the ballot,” said Mary Smith Johnson, Co-Chair, Douglas County Democratic Party.
For one UWS student there’s a lot at stake for the upcoming election.
As someone studying to be a teacher, I’m looking forward to building a career that helps young people thrive. But Donald Trump’s 2025 would defund the department of education and cut back funding for our schools. He doesn’t care about students, and he doesn’t care about working class,” explained Isabella Lyste, a UW-Superior student.
The local Republican Party, by the way, has not organized an election press event at this time.
Early voting in Wisconsin is open until November 1st.
In Minnesota, the last day is November 4th.
