Duluth Police Officer Involved in Pedestrian Accident

DULUTH, Minn. — A pedestrian was hospitalized with minor injuries following an accident involving a Duluth police officer, leading to an investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol.

According to state patrol, a 26-year-old female officer was heading east on 2nd Street to turn onto 6th Avenue East when she hit a 47-year-old woman who was walking.

The incident happened at around 1:10 PM on Monday, Oct. 28. The investigation is ongoing.
