State Volleyball: Ely’s Title Hopes Ended By Minneota in Class A Quarterfinals

The Timberwolves now head into consolation play and will next play on Friday at 3 PM.

ST. PAUL, Minn.- The Ely volleyball team made their 3rd straight state tournament appearance on Thursday night.

Unfortunately like the last two state tournaments, their title hopes ended in the Class A quarterfinals as Ely fell to Minneota in straight sets.

The scores were 25-17, 25-20, and 25-16.

The Timberwolves now head into consolation play and will next play on Friday at 3 PM.
