Monday Morning Northland Forecast: 11/18/2024

Rain Tonight

Good morning, Northland! It is clear calm for this morning to start the week, but things are looking to really change as the day goes forward. As we get closer to noon today, clouds will begin to move into the area and the winds will start to shift from coming out of the south to be out of the east. Expect winds tonight to pick up extensively as they shift to be out of the east, with sustained winds of 20-25 mph and gusts of over 35 mph possible into the overnight hours. As the clouds move in today, the rain will soon follow tonight, with rain expected to move into the area around 9 pm. Today’s high will be 48 with a low tonight of 42.

As we go into tomorrow, the rain will be here to stay for the first half of the day. Expect a rainy morning tomorrow, with some showers possibly lingering into the early afternoon. Tomorrow will also have some gusty winds in the early morning and later in the day as they shift from out of the north-west with the passage of a cold front, with gusts up to 40 mph possible. Tomorow’s high will be around 48, with a low of 32.

So far, it looks like the snow will stay put with this system that is moving through this week. Some snow is possible Wednesday morning, but any snow we do get will be light and likely not accumulate, being less than an inch if there is any accumulation. Be prepared for the rain and gusty winds coming in tonight, and I hope you have a fantastic Monday morning!
