On-The-Run Sheep Makes Visit In Midway Township; Backstory Revealed
MIDWAY TOWNSHIP, Minn. – The on-the-run Northland sheep known as Brad has been spotted again Monday – this time in Midway Township, just outside of Proctor where he was spotted on Sunday.
The Midway Township homeowners are in contact with Shana Roberts who works at the Two Harbors animal shelter and is one of the lead rescuers on the case to capture Brad.
The hope is to get Brad calm, trusting and full of his favorite treat, white bread, for a safe rescue.
Meanwhile, Roberts told FOX 21 on Monday that she finally was notified about Brad’s backstory. She said he was purchased in Carlton and then got of the hands of his new owner as soon as they opened the trailer in Two Harbors.
As we reported, Brad was spotting in Two Harbors about two weeks ago before he was seen in Duluth, Hermantown, Proctor and most recently Monday in Midway Township.
Roberts said there may be a chance that the smart animal might be headed back to his original location in Carlton.
If you see Brad, you are asked to called police and not approach him, as he is spooked easily.
You can also text Roberts with pictures, videos, and locations. She is in contact with the professionals handling Brad’s safe return home. (612) 616-1214.
