Seidel & Boone Finish Cross Country Seasons at NCAA Championships

Two area runners competed at the Cross Country NCAA championships over the weekend.

DULUTH, Minn.- Two area runners competed at the Cross Country NCAA championships over the weekend.

For UMD, Franny Seidel placed 86th overall after finishing with a time of 22:02:09.

That’s a 115 place improvement from the year prior for Seidel.

Over on the men’s side, St. Scholastica’s Calvin Boone placed 136th overall.

He’s the first male in program history to compete at nationals. Boone is also the 3rd to go three times in his career.
