ST. CLOUD, Minn.- Former Duluth East head coach Mike Randolph made his coaching debut for Northern Lakes on Monday night.
And what a debut it was as Randolph became the all-time winningest coach in MSHSL hockey history, securing win number 708 in the Lightning’s 11 to nothing victory over Prairie Centre.
Randolph passes former Rochester Mayo head coach Lorne Grosso.
The former Greyhounds bench boss spent 32 seasons leading East.
He then went to St. Thomas Academy for three years before joining Northern Lakes this season.
Randolph and company will go for win number 709 on Wednesday at Northern Edge.
