CASDA Launches ‘Give the Gift of Healing’ Silent Auction

SUPERIOR, Wis.– In Superior, there’s an opportunity to help victims and survivors of abuse though the “Give the Gift of Healing” fundraiser.

The virtual silent auction goes live on Black Friday.

CASDA is a clinic in Superior that helps victims and survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.

Funds raised through this event will help support the shelter’s operations as they face budget cuts.

Interested buyers can view a wide variety of auction items ranging from tickets to the Minnesota Orchestra, to local Duluth restaurants, and gift vouchers to get your car detailed.

“It’s been really nice. Almost every establishment we’ve reached out to is ready and willing to work with CASDA and help us raise these funds when we need them. This is going to be one of the bigger ones of the year. It’s pretty critical as we face these funding shortages. To make sure the community steps up and steps in to help us when we need it,” said Becky Scherf, Vice President Board for CADSA.

The auction will be running until December 15th at 8 AM.
