UWS Women’s Basketball Claims Bridge Battle Bragging Rights

The Yellowjackets defeat the Saints 72-50 to improve to 3-3 on the year. 

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The UW-Superior women’s basketball team hosted St. Scholastica in the annual bridge battle on Wednesday night.

The Yellowjackets defeat the Saints 72-50 to improve to 3-3 on the year.

Leading the way for the Yellowjackets was Mykenzie Leccia, who had 19 points in the contest.

UWS’ next game is on Wednesday, December 4th where they travel to Menomonie to face UW-Stout.

Tip-off is at 7 p.m.

For the Saints, their leading score on the night was Ava Haus and Kloey Lind, who both recorded 14 points.

CSS will be back in action on Wednesday, December 4th taking on Carleton College.

Game time is at 7:30 p.m.
