School Board Says No Sale to Edison
The board decides not to waiver from policy and sell the property to another school.
After much discussion that lasted nearly two hours, the school board decides not to waiver from policy.
The school board even considered a substitute resolution where they would have had the option to discuss the decision even further..
But in the end, they decided not to change the policies that would’ve enacted the school district to enter into negotiations for Tischer Creek and Edison schools for the property.
Would continue to harm the interests of our public school students.
Tischer and Edison had offered 14.2 million for the property.
The school board says they will continue to market the property.
One member even said she had received phone calls from a potential buyer for part of the property.
