UMD Women’s Basketball Back at Home Against St. Cloud State This Weekend

Tip off between UMD and St. Cloud is on Saturday at 1 p.m.

DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD women’s basketball team set to host St. Cloud State on Saturday for their first home game of 2025.

The Bulldogs picked up their first win of the second half of the season last weekend against Minnesota State Moorhead, where UMD won 74-50.

Another test for this young Bulldog team as the Huskies of St. Cloud is currently 8-6 on the season.

With a young team, the message for the second half of the season is to continue to get better especially as their conference schedule picks up.

“Just keep getting better. Ever since I have been coaching, the number one thing is to get a little better every single day, so that we are playing our best basketball in February. We don’t know what that looks like yet,” said head coach Mandy Pearson.

Tip off between UMD and St. Cloud is on Saturday at 1 p.m.
