UMD Goaltender Klayton Knapp Earns NCHC Rookie of the Week Honors

Knapp is the 5th Bulldog this season to earn a conference honor.

DULUTH, Minn.- UMD freshman goaltender Klayton Knapp picked up NCHC Rookie of the Week honors for his efforts this past weekend against St. Cloud State.

Knapp had two wins and one shutout against the Huskies. He also stopped a total of 48 shots with a saves percentage of 96 percent.

Knapp is the 5th Bulldog this season to earn a conference honor.

He’s also the 3rd UMD player to be named NCHC Rookie of the Week.
