UWS Men’s & Women’s Basketball Extend Win Streaks with Sweep of Northland

The UW-Superior men and women are next in action on Saturday at Martin Luther.

SUPERIOR, Wis.- Both the UW-Superior men’s and women’s basketball teams protected their homecourt on Wednesday night against Northland.

The Yellowjacket men started off the night with a 76 to 58 victory over the Lumberjacks.

Andrew Kunelius had a team-leading 18 points.

Following that contest, the UWS women went on to defeat the Lumberjills 89 to 33.

Elise Besonen led the Yellowjackets with 15 points.
