Proctor/Hermantown, Duluth Marshall Set to Meet in Section 7A Title Game

Puck drop for Saturday's game is set for 2:30 p.m.

PROCTOR, Minn. – Saturday afternoon, a spot in the Class A state tournament will be on the line as two of the best girls hockey teams in the Northland square off at the St. Luke’s Sports and Events Center: Proctor/Hermantown and Duluth Marshall.

Let’s start with the Mirage, who are undefeated on the season. They haven’t lost a game since last year’s section title game. So for a team that is ranked third in Class A, they have still found a way to play with a chip on their shoulder.

As for the 7th-ranked Hilltoppers, they are back in the title game for the second time in the past three years. Marshall is anchored by a group of upperclassmen that is looking to finally get over the hump in its sixth year as a program.

Puck drop for Saturday’s game is set for 2:30 p.m.
