Northlanders Enjoy the Heat Before School Starts

Wisconsin Point saw good crowds eager to beat the heat.

With temperatures hovering near the high 80’s a few northlanders hit the beach while they still could.

Many kids enjoyed the last days of summer at places like Wisconsin Point in Superior.

“I like to be in the water so I can get wet,” said Jack who was visiting the beach with his family.

“I like to swim out here and play in the sand and find rocks,” said Vivian who also was visiting the lake with her family.

The Lake Superior water stayed close to a nice 67 degrees.
